Summary
PepPin is made and sold by VidZenith L.L.C‑FZ. You can delete your PepPin account and data yourself, in the app on iPhone or Android, without contacting us. This page explains what each step removes and what remains. Deleting the app is not the same as deleting your data: on iPhone it removes what’s on your iPhone, but not your iCloud copy or your account; on Android it removes what’s on the phone, but not an Android backup or your account.
Delete Your Account
On iPhone. In the app, go to Profile › Privacy & data › Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your PepPin data from your iPhone and from your private iCloud. If the iCloud copy can’t be deleted, nothing is deleted yet: the app tells you why, so you can try again, or delete from your iPhone only and remove the iCloud copy later in iOS Settings (see below).
On Android. In the app, go to Profile › Privacy & data › Delete account. The page lists what is deleted and what stays, and offers to export your data first. Tap Delete account, then Delete to confirm. This removes from that phone your protocols, dose logs and inventory; your health entries, photos and bloodwork; your food log, water and saved meals; and your profile and sign‑in. Your Android backup stops including them from the phone’s next backup.
Your purchase record at RevenueCat. RevenueCat, the service that checks your Pro subscription, keeps a purchase record under your pseudonymous account ID. On iPhone, the app asks our server to delete it, together with our server’s own records for your account; if your iPhone is offline, it asks again the next time you open PepPin. On Android, it is deleted on request: after you delete your account, the app shows your account ID and offers a ready‑made email to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my purchase record”. We delete it and reply to confirm. Once our server step for Android is live, the Android app will do this automatically too.
What Remains After Deletion
Your Apple Account or Google Account, which PepPin never controls.
An active subscription, until you cancel it in the App Store (see below).
Entries PepPin saved to Apple Health (weight, waist and food). Delete them in the Health app.
Apple’s and Google’s own purchase records, which they keep under their own policies.
On Android, your purchase record at RevenueCat, until you ask us to delete it (see above).
The counts of free Chat messages and free meal estimates used, so they can’t be claimed again.
Any exports you saved outside PepPin.
Chat questions and meal inputs already sent to Anthropic, our AI provider. PepPin’s server does not store Chat messages or raw meal photos or descriptions. It temporarily keeps a checked meal estimate and request hashes for up to 15 minutes, and removes that temporary cache when your account is deleted. Anthropic normally deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, except flagged content may be kept for up to 2 years or longer where required by law (see our Privacy Policy). Revoking consent or deleting your account does not undo a request already processed. The Android app does not offer these AI features yet, so it has sent none.
An Android backup in your Google Account, if you have app backup on, until it is replaced or you delete it (see below).
The Sign in with Apple or Google connection. Remove it in iOS Settings (tap your name, then Sign in with Apple), or in your Google Account’s security settings.
Delete Only Your iCloud Copy
If you want to keep using PepPin on your iPhone but remove its iCloud copy, turn off Sync with iCloud in Profile › Privacy & data, then in iOS Settings tap your name, then iCloud › Manage Storage › PepPin › Delete Data.
Your Android Phone and Backup
Delete individual entries in the app, use Delete account (above), or uninstall the app, which removes everything PepPin stored on the phone. If your phone backs up apps to your Google Account, a copy of PepPin’s records may remain in that backup until your phone’s next backup replaces it; you can turn app backup off, or delete backups, in your phone’s Settings (usually Settings › Google › Backup). The Android app does not use Health Connect, so there is nothing to remove there.
Cancel Your Subscription
On iPhone, subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. In iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose PepPin and tap Cancel. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
On Android, Pro is not yet available, so the Android app offers no purchases and there is nothing to cancel today. Once Pro comes to Android, it will be managed by Google Play: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, choose PepPin and tap Cancel subscription. Refunds will follow Google Play’s refund policy.
Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

Ask Us to Delete
If you can’t use the app — for example, you no longer have the phone — email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my PepPin account”, and say whether you used iPhone or Android. We can delete our server records and your purchase record at RevenueCat; to find them, include the account ID the app showed you, or the order number from your Apple receipt. We can’t reach your phone, your iCloud or your Android backup, because we don’t hold your email and can’t access them. To delete PepPin’s iCloud data yourself, use the iOS Settings steps above on any device signed in to your Apple Account; to delete an Android backup, use your Google Account’s backup settings. We will respond within 45 days.
